God of love!
We know that our mind is important in doing everything. May we live in compliance with God's law, but come from our heart sincerely. May we be holy and clean as God's people.
We can't be holy people just by washing our hands without taking care of our mind at all.
May we obey God's law to gain the land that is the base of our life and so enjoy eternal life. Laws are essential and beneficial systems for us to live with each other. ANd laws are beneficial and comfortable for those who obey the laws well.
"Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time." (Deutronomy 4:40)
When Jesus' disciples ate, they had to wash their hands, but the Pharisess and secretaries claimed that the disciples violated God's law. Like them, we showed hypocrisy in our life.
Our world is in a reality where it is not easy to for us abide by God's law. We have created an era where there is nothing impossible with human power, and we value human ability more than anything else. Human sounds and arguments are heard loudly.
However, let our strength and abilities be reflected in God's law. If the human power and ability seem to be great, please let us more sincere in following God's law. Let us abandon our secular habbits and follow God's law.
